Hi babes! I decided to go to Sephora the other day in hopes of finding a new acne treatment. I realized as I was there I could probably use a whole new skin care routine. I’ve struggled with my skin for awhile now and haven’t really found anything that I LOVE. Although my skin is not terrible I’m pretty insecure about it and I get a lot of texture that ends up looking really bad when I put makeup on(obviously I love wearing makeup so this is an issue for me). SOO when I was at Sephora talking to the lady in the skincare section she asked if I wanted to do a free mini facial, of course I said yes. I ended up really liking the products she used so I bought most of what she used. I bought them all in smaller sizes(except one item that wasn’t offered in a smaller size) since I’m not sure if they’ll end up helping my skin. My skin is oily to combination and my main concern was clogged pores/acne so this is what she thought would help me and what I decided to purchase!
Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser 1.7 oz- $10//5 oz- $30
Belif Bestsellers On-The-Go I bought this for the Bergamot Herbal Extract Toner and The True Cream Aqua Bomb but it also comes with three other products. They’re all pretty small but its only $20. The full size toner is $28 and the full size aqua bomb is $38 so for now I got this smaller travel size just to test out the products. This set is limited edition and I’m not positive how long they’ll have it.
Fresh Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask 1 oz- $25//3.3 oz- $62
Herbivore Lapis Oil Balancing Facial Oil this was the only product that didn’t have a smaller/travel size, the full size is $72 for 1.7 oz but it has great reviews and so far I’m loving it.
Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream She used this on me during the mini facial but I already had it prior to this but stopped using it so I decided to add it back into my routine since I get puffiness around my eyes, and dryness in the winter(this product helps puffiness and dryness).
I’ve only been using these products for a few days, these are just what I think would work best for my particular skin type. Remember everyone is different so not everything that works for me will work for you! I plan to do an updated routine in a month or so and also will share before and after pictures if they end up working out.
Leave a comment with your favorite skin products, I’m always open to trying new things!
xx,
Liv
Really enjoyed reading this, I use a lot of Simple and Garnier products, but am planning on trying Liz Earle soon, I’ve heard some wonderful things about them! xx
