If you follow me on instagram, I’m sure you know I travel to NYC very often. One of my most consistent asked questions is for recommendations for traveling to the city. I started a note on my phone about a year ago and have been updating that for when people ask but I figured having a link to a post with everything a little more organized would be way more useful. So, here it is! I will continue to update this post as I continue to travel to the city.
EAT + DRINK:

One of my favorite things to do while in the city is find new places to eat! I’ve been to almost all of the places listed and I added in a couple that have been frequently recommended by friends + clients.
- BREAKFAST + COFFEE
- Best Bagel & Coffee
- Liberty Bagel
- Cha Cha Matcha
- The Grey Dog
- Zuckers Bagels
- Joe & The Juice
- Butler
- The Butchers Daughter(all vegan/vegetarian)

- The WELL Kitchen + Table
- LUNCH/DINNER
- Beatnic(all vegan)
- Mexicue
- Pietro Nolita

- Mad Dog
- Double Zero(all vegan)
- Gnocco
- Dos Caminos
- Asuka Sushi
- The Wild Son
- The Butchers Daughter
- Haven Rooftop

- Jajaja Mexican(all vegan)
- Beyond Sushi(all vegan)
- DRINKS + APPS
- Gilligans
- ART Arlo Nomad
- Cloud Social
- The Standard Biergarten
- Panorama Room
- 230 5th Rooftop
- Magic Hour
- 1 Oak
- Up + Down
OBSERVATION DECKS:

All of the observation decks are a little pricey but definitely worth the money, I recommend getting tickets the day before or sooner if you can. I also recommend going right before sunset because you get day time view, sunset and night view, they usually add on an extra charge for sunset time but again, worth it.
- Top of the Rock(my personal favorite)
- One World Observatory
- Empire State Building
- The Edge(has a bar + snacks, also restaurant attached)
- SUMMIT One Vanderbilt(newer, have not been to yet but looks really cool!)
OTHER THINGS TO DO:

- The Oculus(basically a mall, not many great stores but definitely a cool building to see)
- Shopping in SoHo
- The Vessel
- The High Line
- Chinatown
- The MET
- Brooklyn Bridge(walking across is a little over a mile but not really the easiest walk but its super cool and you end up right in DUMBO which is a really cool area with a lot of restaurants/shops/good views of the city)
- MoMA
- 9/11 Memorial Museum
- Liberty Island/Statue of Liberty(good views of the city, need tickets to go into the Statue of Liberty and they sell out quick but to just go on the island is easier to get a ticket for. The ferry picks you up from Battery Park which is another nice area to explore)
- Central Park(an obvious one but one of my favorite things to do is grabbing a quick breakfast and finding somewhere to sit and eat in the park)
- The Chelsea Market
HOTELS:

A lot of the time when traveling to NYC we’ve been lucky enough to be able to stay with friends or family. I’m not a huge fancy hotel person especially when in the city because I’m almost never in the room other than to sleep. These two places are the only two I’ve been to that I would recommend. There are a ton of amazing hotels and places to stay in the city but definitely do your research!
- The Moxy Chelsea: fancier option, has a rooftop bar, restaurant and cafe.
- Holiday Inn Chelsea: more basic option, doesn’t have a ton of amenities but the rooms are a decent size and still has really good views if you pay the extra for a city view.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Like I mentioned, I will continue to update this post as I go. As always, if you have any questions or just want to chat feel free to send me a direct message on Instagram!
xx,
