Last week I did a few different birthday celebrations which required me to dress up a little more than I usually would. I wanted to share all my outfits with you guys in one big post so you could see everything! Sunday was the day my blog turned one! After forcing my boyfriend to take a million pictures of me with the one balloon we went to dinner to celebrate my birthday. I first had on an off the shoulder top but then realized how HOT it was so I decided to change into a tank from Free People. My skirt is also from Free People and I am so obsessed with it!! I’m usually not a skirt/dress/short person, I hate showing my extremely pale legs. I am 100% the person you see in the summer and think “isn’t that girl sweating in those jeans?” Most likely yes, but this day was so hot and I had recently purchased this skirt to step out of my comfort zone so I thought it was the perfect time to wear it. I’ve seen so many girl wearing denim skirts recently and I always thought, wow those look so uncomfortable, how do you move in them? I was super surprised when I tried this skirt on and realized how comfortable and stretchy it was! It’s also going to be a great piece to transition into fall, I think pairing it with a cropped sweater and some booties will be super cute. We went to dinner at Cantina Loco and if you’re from Buffalo I highly recommend going there, they have amazing Mexican food! I also had family here from out of town and they rented out a boat and it was so fun and the outfit worked for all occasions that day.

On my actual birthday I went to dinner with my moms side of the family because I share a birthday with my grandpa so we always celebrate together! We went to Public House on the Lake for dinner, again if you’re from Buffalo, highly recommend, their food was so good! If you’re wondering, yes I’m wearing the same top from the previous day in a different color. These Free People tops are so comfy and easy to pair with different outfits. The one I have in black is a size small and the white is a medium(don’t ask why I got two different sizes) but the medium is definitely a much better fit. They also have FIVE other colors in this top, I definitely want all of them. Since I wear a lot of high-rise bottoms these are perfect. I actually wore the white one on my birthday last year! I’ve been obsessed with this ‘paperbag’ style pants recently. The ones I own were a gift from my sister that she brought back from Greece. I linked a couple similar and I also own a similar style in all black from Forever 21, they were super cheap too!
The day after my birthday I went to dinner with my dad and sister! I wanted to keep it simple since I had dressed up a little more the past two days. I have been loving Zaras high-rise jeans recently! They are super comfortable and I love the slightly frayed bottom. I came across the brand Love Street on instagram last month and immediately ordered this top and shoes! They’re both so cute and easy to style in different ways. I was a little nervous about the shoes and if they would be hard to walk in because they’re so flat but they are actually really easy to walk in and also super comfortable. I’m definitely going to be purchasing more from this brand because I love the quality.

Since I turned 21 I wanted to go out with my friends over the weekend! The jumpsuit I wore was also a gift from my sister that she brought back from Greece so I linked one similar too! I adore the color of this jumpsuit and it was super fun to wear. The bag I used ALL of these days is a bag I talked about in this post. I was immediately in love with this bag and it fits just enough things for dinners or going out. I’m definitely going to be using this bag a lot the rest of the summer and probably the beginning of fall too!
