Hello beauties! I’ve been hearing so many mixed reviews about the ABH Subculture Palette so I had to try it out for myself to see what all the talk was about. My initial thought was that I love the packaging and the shades were amazing. Once I started using the palette I realized there weren’t many transition or lighter shades to use. The shadows also had a lot of fall out. Even if I touched my brush to it very lightly, a lot of it was coming up. I knew that this was an issue people were already having with the palette but I waited awhile to get this palette because I was hoping that the initial batch wasn’t good and that ABH would fix this issue. Other than that issue, the shades I used were decently pigmented, but very hard to blend. I was debating on returning this palette because I know I won’t use it much but I decided to keep since I really like the colors. I definitely won’t be grabbing this a lot but I know i’ll use it every now and then for the unique shades. In the bottom two photos, I lightly touched the brush to the shades so you could see the fall out of the shades, some of them had more than others.
Let me know what you thought of this palette and how it worked for you!!
xx,
Liv
Thank you for this review! I’ve heard so many mixed reviews as well and but really love these colors! But I didn’t want to spend the money and regret it! So sad because the colors are so unique and pretty!
I loveeee the colors but I wish the formula was more like the modern renaissance palette but they aren’t terrible!
That palette looks so nice!! All star would probably be my favourite one to use xx
Great review! I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award, check out what that means and accept it on my most recent blog post! x
